Climate Safe Schools expression of interest

Help your school establish a Climate Club and strengthen student climate literacy. Climate Safe Schools supports schools to engage students in learning, discussion and simple school-based climate activities.

Submitting this form does not automatically confirm selection. CCAIE reviews all submissions and contacts selected schools or teacher representatives with next steps. Fields marked in each section are required unless noted as optional.

What schools are expected to provide

  • A teacher focal person
  • Support for forming a student Climate Club
  • Permission for students to take part in approved activities
  • Communication with CCAIE on progress and challenges
  • Simple updates, photos or activity reports
  • Student safety and school approval for all activities

  • The information provided is accurate to the best of our knowledge.
  • Submitting this expression of interest does not guarantee selection for the pilot phase.
  • Our school is interested in establishing or supporting a Climate Club.
  • Selected schools assign a teacher focal person to coordinate with CCAIE.
  • Activities follow the school's internal rules, safeguarding standards and student safety requirements.
  • We consent to CCAIE contacting the school or listed representative about next steps.
  • CCAIE may use non-sensitive information about participating schools for reporting, learning, communication and donor engagement, subject to permissions.
