Accessibility

Open to everyone.

The Centre for Climate Action, Innovation and Engagement — CCAIE — is committed to making its website accessible and usable for all visitors, including people using assistive technologies.

Our accessibility commitment

CCAIE aims to provide a website experience that is clear, readable, navigable, and accessible across devices. We are working to align the website with WCAG 2.1 AA standards and to improve usability for visitors with different access needs.

Accessibility features we aim to support

Across the site we work to provide:

  • Readable text and strong color contrast
  • Keyboard navigability
  • Visible focus states
  • Descriptive link text
  • Alt text for meaningful images
  • Form labels and clear form instructions
  • Responsive layouts for mobile and tablet
  • Accessible buttons, links, and CTAs

We also work to use a readable page structure with clear headings, sections, and spacing.

Ongoing improvements

Accessibility is an ongoing process. As CCAIE updates its website, programs, forms, media, and resources, we continue to review pages and improve accessibility where issues are identified.

Known limitations

Some older embedded media, third-party content, external links, or legacy assets may not fully meet the same accessibility standards. CCAIE will review and improve these items where possible.

Feedback and support

If you experience difficulty accessing any part of the website, please contact us at info@ccaie.org. Please include the page URL, the issue experienced, and the type of assistive technology or device used if relevant.
